My Song

Since deciding to walk myself down the aisle, I have also decided that the song is completely my choice. My walk down the aisle means a lot to me, and I'm trying to figure out the best song. I want something that is bitter sweet, and I want something that will help me walk down the aisle. The song should be something that everyone understands, but most of all, it should be something that I can feel.

My first choice is "Stand by Me"



This is a song that everyone will understand and enjoy.

I love Damien Rice. His music is so emotional.



"Cannonball" lists so many contradictions that are about life. I've always loved this song.

I have also thought about stealing Miss Stiletto's first dance song.



This song is a love song, but its not completely happy. I love the bitter sweet effect of it.

I want the song that I walk down the aisle to be happy and sad because a wedding is mostly about happiness. I want something to acknowledge that there will be hard times too.

I will miss the experience of walking down the aisle with my dad. So, I want a song that has those emotions as well as the happiness that I will feel as I am walking to Mr. Camrah. Songs do a beautiful job of expressing the ups and downs of life. I'm not sure which song I want, but I know the emotions that I want it to convey.
