Dresses

Oh glamor. Sigh… How do I give my bridesmaids that 1930’s glamor? I'm thinking Emerald green dresses!

Who doesn’t love the pop of deep green? Unfortunately, I found that emerald green isn’t as prominent in short dresses as it is in full length. So, I’ve been on the search for green knee to tea length dresses. I’m imaging something like this.

It's a vintage dress in a great color. My first score was when I goggled emerald dress. This dress popped up.
It’s by BandLu.com. I love the back of the dress. The only drawl back is it’s made from a less formal stretchy material, but I think it will still look good in pictures. It will probably more comfortable for my bridesmaids on the wedding day too. I just found these three dresses from target.
The first dress is my fav. These dresses are made from a more formal fabric, and the best thing is the price. They are under $40. I don’t want any of my bridesmaids to spend over $70 on a dress. I don’t spend that much on a dress, and I don’t want to make anyone else. I’m going to give everyone these options, but they will be free to pick another dress too. They can wear any dark green dress, but I want them all to be knee to tea length. I also want the final ok on everyone's dress before they buy it. I haven’t yet thrown away the idea of making the dresses. I initially thought my mom could make the dresses as my wedding present. It was kind of pushed aside, but I know that its still an option if none of the above or others work out.

What do you think of the dresses? Did anyone else opt for a stretchy material because of a dress's design?
