Centerpiece branches: First Trial

Okay. I know I left last time on shaky terms, but I'm back to show you my pearl branch centerpiece.

Supplies:
-Wire cutters
-Floral stem wires (brown)
-Floral tape (brown)
-Beading Wire
-Teardrop pearls (ivory-cream)
-Jewelery glues or a hot glue gun

Instructions:
1. Measure and cut beading wire to form a circle around the bottom of the glass bowl
2. Cut floral stems at various lengths. Add 1.5 inches to the floral stem length desired
3. Twist the 1.5 extra inch of the floral stems around the beading wire circle
4. Go around the beading wire and floral stem twists with the floral tape
5. Glue tip of teardrop pearl onto the tip of each floral stem

Ta-Da
What do you think? I wanted something that will give an added dimension to the centerpieces. I also didn't want floral centerpieces, but I still want everything to look put together. Excuse the floral stem bends. This one has been sitting in the closet for a few months and some of them now bent weird.
I put one of our bowls in the center so you can get a better idea of what the total effect will be. When I make the actual pearl branches (I need to think of a better term), the beading wire circle will be smaller. I want the wire circle to hug the bottom of the bowl.

I'm pretty happy with these first results, but I'll show you when I have a complete centerpiece.

Did you DIY any part or all of your centerpiece?
