I finished my summer project, and its only Halloween!

I'm one of those people who makes completely unrealistic schedules. I end up getting a lot done but never completely finishing my goals. I always put way too much on my plate. Because of this tendency, I finished my summer project by Halloween.

No moms or aunts past this point please!

There were several things on my summer list, but the main one was the handkerchiefs. I've posted about the first two already. They went to my mom and Mr. Camrah's mom, and I finished the last one this morning. Want to see?

This handkerchief is going to my aunt. I wanted to include her in the handkerchief club for several reasons. Shes the person I go to when I need advice or someones opinion. She is also helping with the wedding in so many ways, and I wanted to let her know how much I appreciate everything she does. I decided on the Irish harp because she really likes Celtic designs. Since this was my last one and I was all warmed up from the first two, I tried out some fancier embroidery stitches. I wanted the textures on the harp and G to really pop.Above is a close up of the crochet design. It reminds me of a woven basket.

I got some pictures of all three of the handkerchiefs together too.

Above is our cat Bee who immediately sat down when I cleared off the table to take the pictures. I'm so glad that none of the handkerchief recipients are allergic to cats because chances are there will be a stray strand of fur some place on at least one of them.

Did you include someone besides your parents and bridal party in your appreciation gifts? Who and why?

  2. Thanks so much! This was one of the projects I was most excited for, and I'm so happy with how they turned out.
