Wedding Weekend 09

In my small little world, it seemed like everyone got married this past weekend. I went to a total of two weddings.

Mr. Camrah and I went to two. The first wedding we were there for the bride. She is my friend from work. It was so much fun to have someone to go through this crazy process with. We shared ideas and pictures of what we liked and disliked.
The wedding was held on the water with a sunset backdrop. They were very lucky that it did not rain. There were two very unique things about this wedding. Firstly, the food was not your average chicken and beef options.

Dinner was served family style, and it was a compilation of Russian cuisine with sushi and stir fry. Secondly, the toasts were given randomly throughout the reception, and the floor was open to anyone that had something to say about the lucky couple.
And another pic of the happy couple.
And a pic of me and the bride and our other co-worker.
The second wedding was in Minnesota (we took a red eye straight from the first wedding), and it was the wedding of one of Mr. Camrah's friends from his fraternity.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was the bouquets and boutonnieres. Each of the four bridesmaids had a different color bouquet and their corresponding groomsmen had a matching boutonniere.
The bride's bouquet was made up of all four of the flower colors. This wedding was a beautiful outdoor wedding and reception, but for a portion of the reception I was involved in this.
Mr. Camrah's best man was also a groomsman in this wedding, and we were all there for the groom. We helped in the tradition of decorating the car for their drive to their honeymoon lake cabin.
It started with the antenna, and slowly but surely it became this.

Supplies we used to decorate the get away car.
-toilet paper
-streamers
-shaving cream
-various paraphernalia

Remember their married now, so bring on the jokes. Here's a final pic of the groom (after seeing his car) with the guys.
Was there ever a period full of weddings for you? Did you every get to help in any traditions even though you were just a guest?
