Mr. Camrah has been telling me that the wedding should be focused around two things 1. Us 2. Me. While he is probably right, I've never really been great at taking the spotlight. I prefer the focus to be on everyone. (Don't ask why I have a person blog about MY wedding).
I want to make our wedding about more than just us with a focus on the bride. So, I am trying to incorporate and include those whom we are closest to.
My first mission is to include Mr. Camrah's style into my design. For the most part, he is the type of guy who stays as far away from wedding planning as possible, and he doesn't like making decisions in general (just try to make him decide on dinner). I'm making most of the wedding and especially decor decisions. His only opinion about the look of our wedding, is that he wants to get married in a nice church sanctuary. I've been thinking about a few other ways people will know its his wedding too.
Seven is Mr. Camrah's favorite number. He claims that seven is the answer to everything (similar to hitchhiker's guide), and any time you ask him a question you should probably expect 7 to be his answer. In honor of his obsession with the number seven all table numbers will be multiples of seven, and the head table, you guessed it, will be table number seven.
I also designed the above for our monogram using adobe illustrators free trial. Do you notice anything unusual about the R? Yep! There's a seven in it.
Sorry this picture is a little deceiving. Mr. Camrah doesn't actually like sports, but him and his best man do love a good touchdown. The drink that is! Touchdowns are made of a shot of Mandarin vodka and approximately half a glass of red bull. The shot is dropped into the red bull and it is quickly drank. It is there celebratory drink, and I suggested Mr. Camrah and his best man do a touchdown after the best man's toast. Look at how happy his best man was about that, but disregard Mr. Camrah's non-excited facial expression.
(actually a picture of the three of us at the Mall of America)
The final touch will be the thing that Mr. Camrah has been BEGGING for all along.
A White Chocolate Fountain! His favorite food in the entire world is white chocolate, and he has been trying to convince me we should have a chocolate fountain at our wedding. Initially, I was not 100% sure, but I think it will make a great groom's cake substitute.
Are you doing anything special to incorporate the groom into the wedding details?
