Now that we have talked about the dresses lets move on to what will go with said dresses.
No Bmaids past this point. (That means you Karen!)
All right know that she's gone. I made a deal with the bridesmaids, that whoever gets the cheapest shoes, gets a prize. It won't be big, but I was thinking of some beauty kit thingy.
Anyways... There has been talk of flats.
Which I'm fine with. The only stipulations I gave was color. Ironically the only bridesmaid without a dress has shoes.
Having left them to pick out their dress and shoes, I decided to take on the accessories. I bought 2 different styles of clutches for my four bridesmaids. The younger two are getting these fun gold clutches.
While the more sophisticated half are getting the chic champagne clutches.
I just realized this weekend they are a little smaller than I would have liked (my cell phone can't fit in the bright gold one), but overall I think that they will like the ones I picked out. They can always just use them as a wallet after the wedding, right?
I also decided to make pearl jewelry for everyone.
I bought white and light pink freshwater pearls from a street fair months ago for another project. That project didn't end up happening, but the pearls ended up being perfect for the bridesmaids jewelry.
The first one is for my MOH. I think the side feather charm will look great and totally goes with the overall vintage look of her dress.
I decide to go with the classic pearl strand for FSIL. I've always heard that she doesn't like IN YOUR FACE jewelry. So, I thought classic would be best for her.
This is the one that I'm still not quite sure if I'm happy with it. I think I may change the bottom strand to an all gold chain with ribbon woven in. I was trying to go for the very popular mix-match multi-chain necklace, but I'm not sure I accomplished the task. :( Anyways, I decided to make this necklace longer due to the high neck dress that H2 will be wearing.
This last one is probably my favorite. I hoping its not too girly for H1, but it should go with the dress.
I was so excited to finish all these in a week! I also love that they are all different. Just like there dresses, and my bridesmaids themselves.
