Moms

I'm just going to put it out there. I've decided to nix corsages.
I just wasn't feeling the corsages for the moms, and I don't think the one grandma that might be able to make it would want one. My mom wasn't particularly excited about going sans corsage, but she's the least confrontational person I know. So, she said her piece about corsages and let it go. Of course she doesn't know about my alternatives to the corsage.

No moms or aunts past this point please!

I've probably talked way too much about these bad boys already, but I'm really hoping they will love them even more then a corsage. Since I made one for my aunt too, I had to do something else just for the moms.

Exhibit B.
Even before I thought about wearing my great aunt's cameo, I knew matching cameo necklaces for the moms would be perfect. Who doesn't need a cameo necklace? Now I just have to decide the style and color. My mom already bought her dress.
I know that a black cameo will match most dresses, but I think that the color cameos will really make my mom's outfit pop. I don't think FMIL has a dress yet, but I'm hoping to find a cameo that will work for both of them.

Has anyone else decided to do corsage alternatives or nix them all together?

p.s. I heard of one person doing mini-bouquets for the moms. Each mom got a replicas of her original bridal bouquet. I just had to share.
