Part deux

I posted this olive branch picture as a teaser in an earlier post. This is because olive branches are used in Italian weddings as a traditional wedding present. This present, however, does not go to the bride or groom. It is a present from the bride to her new mother-in-law. The olive branch represents its traditional meaning of peace between the bride and MIL.

I used this Italian tradition as my starting design for my FMIL's handkerchief.
The dove kind of followed the olive branch. They're pretty much a match made in heaven. The edging for this handkerchief was harder to decide on. I finally decided on this edging because the fans remind me of feathers.
