I designed the crocheted edging to loosely look like the lace on my dress. My veils edging is slightly bigger than the tiniest crocheting I have ever done.  So, the sewing was definitely the hardest part.  I'll let you know about the tea staining adventure a little later.

I'll let you know about the tea staining adventure a little later.Since Acro got to my first piece of tulle for the veil (the one I ordered online for $25), I bought this piece at JoAnn's for $2.50 and cut it myself. The grand total of my veil (minus Acro's toy tulle)... $9! $9 for a custom veil isn't too bad. Especially when bridal shop veils are running around $200. Time was definitely the investment with this project.
